The match began with Royal Challengers Bengaluru winning the toss and opting to bowl first, a decision that paid off as they outclassed Delhi Capitals in both bowling and batting.

She raced to her fastest fifty of the tournament in just 27 balls, setting the tone for RCB’s effortless chase.

Danni kept the momentum going with seven boundaries, supporting Smriti well.

The English batter also survived a dropped catch at long-off when Jemimah Rodrigues missed an easy opportunity with Danni on 34.

But it was Richa Ghosh (11 not out from 5 balls) who finished the chase with a six in the 16.2 over. Later, Renuka was named Player of the Match and was awarded Purple Cap.
