The mother of teen who died by suicide in Kerala's Kochi has alleged that her son faced relentless bullying due to his skin color. "The cruelty did not cease even after his passing. A disturbing chat screenshot shows the depths of their malice... they celebrated his deathgolden palasyo," she stated.

In the wake of a 15-year-old schoolboy's suicide in Kochi, Kerala, his mother has accused the severe ragging he experienced of driving him to this tragic decision. In an Instagram post, Rajna PM claimed that her sonwas subjected to physical violence, verbal harassment, and forced to lick a toilet seat.

While police have opened a case regarding the suicide, the teen's mother has reached out to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the head of the Kerala police, demanding a thorough and unbiased investigation into her son's death. The teen took his life on January 15 by jumping from their 26th-floor apartment in Thripunithara, just an hour after returning from school.

Mother Advocates for Justice

"Following his death, my husband and I began to gather information to comprehend why he felt he had no other option. Through discussions with his friends, schoolmates, and by examining social media interactions, we uncovered the horrifying truth of his experiences. He faced severe ragging, bullying, and physical abuse from a group of students both at school and on the bus," his mother explained.

"The evidence we collected reveals a harrowing reality. He was beaten, verbally tormented, and subjected to unspeakable humiliation even on his final day. He was forcibly taken to the restroom, made to lick a toilet seat, and had his head pushed into a flushing toilet. These acts of cruelty shattered him in ways we cannot fully understand."

The teen's mother emphasized that he was targeted because of his skin color. "The torment continued even after his death. A shocking chat screenshot illustrates the extent of their cruelty. They messaged 'fxxk ni*ga he actually died' and celebrated his passing," she wrote.

Big Charge Against School

Rajna PM said the teen's friends had started an Instagram page to amplify their demand for justice. "However, the page has now been deleted,22win register and there are reports that the school is intimidating students to suppress the truth. When I approached the school authorities with evidence and demanded accountability, they only informed me that the information was forwarded to the police. I strongly believe they are attempting to cover up these incidents to protect the school's reputation," she said. The teen's mother said she has approached the Chief Minister's office and DGP for immediate action. "I fear delays in gathering digital evidence may allow the culprits to erase their tracks."

She also said she had flagged the incident to the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. According to a Mathrubhumi report, the child rights body's chairman has confirmed that the panel has taken note of the teen's tragic death. She has also alleged that the school's vice-principal harassed him. Kerala Education V Sivankutty has ordered a thorough investigation into the chilling incident, Mathrubhumi has reported.

Top actors have spoken out against the ragging culture and mourned the loss of a young life. Samantha Ruth Prabhu said the news had "absolutely shattered" her. "It's 2025.
